I found this cool little kebab house 4 months ago. I’ve tried them all in the area, literally all of them. Tarbush is head & shoulders above the rest. It’s the flavour, the spices, the variety of ingredients and the generous fillings.They were closed once for a day & I had to go up the road. It vindicated my opinions of Tarbush, as the best in Lower Hutt .great service & friendly people. You gave to try it

A little gem with absolutely delicious food and very friendly staff. Falafal was my absolute favourite. It was so beautiful. I ended up getting a dozen falafal to take home and just couldn't stop eating them. Rest of the meat on the platter, all of them were so moist and tender. Highly recommend it!Went back for more after a while and the food and hospitality was just the same. Every visit makes us what to go back for more. I was stuffed after a mixed meat on salad and still ended up eating 3 more falafals. I can eat those falafal all day long. Still highly recommend it.

Delicious food, friendly staff, and excellent prices. Couldn't ask for more. Has become my go to spot for a quick lunch/dinner.

Bought Mandi from frome here. OH MY GOOOODDDD.... Delicious. I have nothing more to say. Worth your money. 95 I'd say that its more than a fair price. We got half lamb half chicken. Awesome job. The only downside is that you have to order it a day before. But worth the wait.We will order again for sure. Thanks Tarbosh. …

Chicken Kebab was so yummy. I'm having to watch what I eat, so chose sweet chilli and satay sauce. Was absolutely delicious. Hubby had a mixed kebab combo, was so yummy too. Will definitely be going back.

By far the best iskendar kebab I have had in any of the other shops in the hutt area. The taste, consistency and meat quality is 10/10.

Sorry there isn't 6 stars to put. If you would like to test 'the real/original falafel' and hummus, then you should visit this restaurant. The falafel will be fried right in front of you, which is the most important thing when it comes to falafel specifically. Amazing food, super clean, and friendly staff. Today it was my first time there, and surely it won't be the last. I look forward to testing the other dishes.
